Blink-182 announces reunion at 51st Grammy Awards
All three members of Blink-182 appeared on stage together for the first time since 2004 to present the award for Rock Album of the Year before announcing that they have reformed and are currently working on a new record together. The band, perhaps best known for their melodic take on punk rock and toilet humor, had a bitter falling out in early 2005. Guitarist Tom DeLonge soon formed his own group called Angels and Airwaves while drummer Travis Barker and bassist Mark Hoppus quickly started a new band called +44. Neither band was able to achieve similar commercial success or mass appeal.
